INTERNSHIP
Students will have a chance to become a part of a team that will focus on becoming leaders that make a difference in their community.
Vicktory Life was established in 2018 to empower middle and high school students to develop the necessary life skills needed to achieve their academic and career goals.
We believe that in order for students to reach their full potential, consistent and reliable support is essential. We offer a variety of strength-based services, many of which are provided where the student resides (including foster homes, group homes, detention centers, etc.). Our programs are designed to help students take ownership of their lives so that they can, in turn, leave a longstanding legacy.
Testimonials
Mr. Vick gave me the confidence to be comfortable with public speaking and enabled me to thrive outside of my comfort zone. All of Mr. Vick’s work played a crucial role in my undergraduate college success and it continues to impact my experience as a young professional in Washington, DC. I can’t speak highly enough about Mr. Vick and his program.

The Vicktory Life Sports Symposiums allow high school student athletes the opportunity to get up close and personal opportunity to speak with current and former college and professional athletes. This open communication allows for the student athletes to get a better feel for the transition that can cause many to stumble, such as the demanding schedule of being a college student and how to deal with the pressure of being a role model at a young age. As someone who follows high school recruiting as a profession, I can say that there are not many opportunities out there for young athletes to not only learn the skills that it takes to make it to the college level, but the skills that it takes to succeed in the classroom as well.

Vicktory Life is the type of program that we need in our world today. We need this in our world today, because it encourages community, commitment, and a productive place for youth to learn, develop, grow, and have positive influences/mentors. Working with Dwight Vick has been an amazing experience for me as a volunteer. I am honored to be able to watch Mr. Vick to live in his passion of helping students, but more specifically young students that have a desire to be, or currently are athletes. He makes an effort to help these students not only be successful as athletes, but as college students. He stresses the importance that every athlete also needs education and a back -up career plan. I have never seen anyone put in so much faith, love, commitment, and time into the lives of the youth. Mr. Vick is by far an excellent speaker, and excellent role model, family man, and mentor. What sets his program apart is the consistency of the volunteers, training, topics, and commitment to individual student success. Mr. Vick has NEVER let limited resources or finances stop him from delivering high quality programs. He just knows the right network of people that are always willing to bring a specialized program or topic to the students. These topics include professional dress, life skills, financial management, and communication skills for example. For Mr. Vick, it is more than about how to train hard as an athlete, but to be holistic human beings that recognize that there are people in this world committed to trying their best to be a positive contribution to the world vs. a burden. I will continue to volunteer to support this program as long as it is around because it is a cause that contributes to today’s youth, which in turn, has a positive impact on our communities and our world. Congratulations to Dwight Vick for many years of commitment to youth.
